I have a yogo sapphire that is a one carat oval. It is currently set in a ring mount with diamonds much like Princess Cate’s ring. It is considered a ‘royal’ yogo. I have an up to date appraisal .
I am interested in selling. Would you have any interest in this?

I got this from my husband as an anvriersany gift and it is BEAUTIFUL! It is even more beautiful in person than in the photos shown. The stones look darker when you’re wearing the ring but I think the picture is accurate for how dark they are when it’s on. We don’t have any heirlooms in my family and I feel like I got one with this ring. People always think it’s a real antique. I love it!

Yes, a rhodium plated yellow gold setting will ‘appear’ white, but the rhodium will wear off over time, exposing the yellow gold beneath. White gold is generally a little ‘yellowish’ under the rhodium, though there are proprietary alloys these days that are ‘ever white’ white gold…These alloys don’t have a long history behind them as far as durability (wear, re-sizing, etc.) is concerned.

Yes. NATURAL Pink diamonds are much more rare than yellows, and often they are heavily included. Pink diamonds are pricey, but they have a history of appreciating as the years go by. If you’re serious about a pink diamond, think serious cash–and don’t ask every jeweler you know to go look for one. The supply is so limited that you may wind up bidding against yourself.

There are several types of ‘treated’ pink diamonds on the market as well. They can be very pretty, but they lack the intrinsic value of natural pinks.
